Their home form isn't particularly great, which is a stark contrast to their days at Goodison

They've nothing going forward that concerns me, but no doubt theyll be tough to break down etc

Personally think their new ground suits us nicely, and can see us winning comfortably after a tricky first 20 minutes

1-3 City
If Liverpool can roll up there and win 2-1 we can do so by a better score.

Why the fuck are we playing on Monday! Gotta wait the hole weekend and will have to cool it on the beers on the Bank Holiday.

Thinking about it, when was the last time we played on a Monday, can’t remember one for a couple of seasons.
Worst night for a game, rather have a game Sunday night than Monday.

I don't know much about Everton these days, but your post has put me in a confident mood,as we enter the BH weekend. ; )

Really need Villa to beat Forest (and qualify for chumps with next 2/3 games) and get to the final so they have nothing to play for
Do you really think that Brighton can pull back eight points in four matches on Villa?

Brighton have recorded four wins and a draw in their last five matches, and have taken 19 points out of a possible 24 in their last eight. The team is in excellent form, with a favorable run of fixtures ahead, and is capable of winning all four of their next games.

Aston Villa must win their next two matches tomorrow against Tottenham and then Burnley to secure at least fifth place in the table before hosting Liverpool and traveling to the Etihad Stadium.

That's definitely doable...
Come on Villa... cough cough splutter splutter.

Ffs see a lot of the trains have gone to bus replacements now. Definitely wasn’t the case when I booked them.

At this stage this game may as well be part of next seasons fixture list. It will only matter if it matters.
The league may well be won or lost at that stage for all we know. If it does matter it will be what City turn up on the day that will be the important factor which will trump how competitive or not Villa are.

Every game is a must win now as i don't see Arsenal dropping many, if any, points. They might stink the place out and scrape them but all their games on paper are pretty straightforward. Fulham are a decent side but their open style will suit Arsenal. They play good football but concede too easily. West Ham could be tricky but they'll have to play out of their skins and ride their luck. Burnley will get battered. Palace away would normally be tricky but they're as good as in a European final a few days later and will prioritise that.

I lived and worked just off the Dock Rd close to where the new ground is. Really looking forward to seeing the ground and the area, it was on its arse when I lived there in the early 1980s.

I am driving over so will park North near Waterloo or Crosby stations and train it in from there as may be less people going that way on the train after the game.

Just thought I would mention it for others driving.

So would we mate. We are fed up with the evening games. I think this will be 7 on a Monday evening for us this season.

If Rodri is out, I really hope its Nico, but i can see Pep playing Kovacic with Bernardo and as good as they both are we miss the physical side and press when they are paired
I can see the same. Then when we're struggling on 60 mins he will bring Nico on and we will try to fix it.
