Why has everyone thrown the towel in?

Game by game and see where we are going into Villa at home on the final day.

West Ham have to get points next weekend after today's result. Let's hope they do us a favour.
Let’s hope they do themselves a favour too (and fuck spurs in the process)

As long as fullham keep it at 1 arsenal will feel the pressure late 2nd half.
Hopefully their arse falls out

That's the hope, we didn't need an early goal for Arsenal, that took the pressure right off, we needed the nerves to start to grow.

Said something in the Sky online match commentary about Fulham probably being affected by some sort of bug that's swept through the camp, but I'm not really sure why anybody was expecting (a) Arsenal to not be up for it and (b) Fulham to get anything from this anyway.

Wish people would stop banging on about not getting the goal difference v Burnley. We didn't. Get over it. As others have said you can point to several matches where we have dropped points, we don't have a divine right to score goals.

Same old same old, everybody flapping again because Arse are going 6 points clear but that's because of the fixture list. No other club has 2 games in hand.

I'm more interested in why we couldn't have played Bournemouth this week, both us and they had an 8-9 day break.

It’s pathetic given the position we are still in compared to a month ago or so.

If we go and win it, they shouldn’t celebrate it.
Some of the stuff I read on here is so cringe gloom worthy. People automatically always think the worst case scenario.

The hope is Fulham get to half time and come out playing better. Everyone knows that anxiety that creeps in when it's only 1-0 and any mistake could cost you and it sounds like this crowd will make it 10x worse.
