Pep to leave at the end of the season

Bwahahahahahahaahahahahahaah

excuse me..

Bwahahahahahahaahahahahahaahahahahaha

You sure about that??

Just look at the comments on this thread.. with we're too big for Maresca shit.
That’s not hubris, that’s realism - we are too big for Maresca

We’re an elite club staffed top to bottom by leading figures in their field. Maresca doesnt fit the bill

Nobody can follow Pep with the same success, we have to be careful about what happened to the rags after Ferguson left. We are better run so I doubt things will be as bad as that, but Maresca isn’t really an inspiring or charismatic choice is he.

Should have tried to get any of Enrique, Klopp, Emery or Vinny. I just don’t see Enzo Maresca being a big draw for new signings or particularly inspiring for those already here, especially after Pep.
I don’t know who knows what or when they knew but I would guess those at the top have known for while. If we are to believe the rumours Maresca was being spoken about,(and to ?) before he left Chelsea back in December. In which case Semenyo,Guehi and their agents, plus Anderson if again rumours are true would all be well aware Peps time was short and Maresca was favourite to replace him.

I still disagree.

A proper mentality, a proper winner, a proper self confident individual bites your hand off.

Anyone hiding because they don’t back themselves enough, can fuck off.

Fair enough mate - we’ll see in a few weeks, I guess.

If Maresca takes over at that point, I think most of us would struggle to argue he’s the absolute best manager we could have possibly found to follow Pep.

And if either Vinnie or Enrique or someone of their ilk then takes over in a couple of years, then I’d be prepared to bet the scenario I’ve described will be why.

Either way - we all want the next man to be as successful as Pep, so whoever it is we need to get behind him.

We all want the next man to be as successful as Pep whoever it is. Maybe best not to expect it though and have slightly lower expectations again whoever it is..

Maresca wanted a ball playing keeper at Chelsea, the rumours were he never liked Sanchez. Not saying it will happen but interesting decision if Maresca is appointed.
That was Sanchez though. Pep wouldn't be playing Sanchez right now ahead of Trafford. He is playing Donnarumma over him though because hes elite.

You could be right, I don’t have a preference, just that Maresca apparently likes a keeper good on the ball, and was interested in Trafford at Burnley. Be interesting to see Maresca’s view on a number of players.

Life after pep won’t be the same no matter how we spin it.

Let it percolate subconsciously for a while.

Next season without pep will be weird. If he does indeed leave.
