Pep to leave at the end of the season

Interesting that noone is mentioning that the former Guardiola's assistant Carlos Vicens is on the verge to win the Europa League in his first season as a manager of Braga..
 
It's a bit of a left field appointment if it turns out to be maresca.
No other top club would be looking at him this summer if their manager was leaving - are napoli top club?

I did say a while back that when pep leaves, it could make sense to bring in a manager that would fail in their first season so we could sack him and the new long term guy isn't replacing Pep and all the pressure that brings.
Granted it's a crazy idea but if the big guys are thinking short term pain for long term gain, this could be it.
Or maresca could be a great success and appointing him could be a masterstroke.

So he is being in judged on that ? Pep was at times awful in first season when he was heating used to league and we had shocking results during his first season so everything was red flag ?

Good riddance, took the piss on the 115 which is sensitive to us all.
Poor recruitment, Wirtz is nowhere near a 100m plus player, Frimpong/Kerkev average, Isak to be decided.
They should have signed Guehi but glad they dithered.

It’s about getting the best out your players his player management of Vini was piss poor, yep Vini is a cock but look at him now since he was sacked been one of there best players!

Still weak managment. Pep had a wealth of experience before he arrived at City and we had showed signs during the first season he has what it takes to succeed.
 
Surprised there has not been an announcement by city if in fact pep is leaving. Would love to know who told @Ric ? As I'd imagine ric would have asked that it's OK to share the info?
