He'll probably want a 4 year deal...we shouldn't be anywhere near that for a soon to be 30 year old. I don't think he'd suit our style where he'll face a low block 90% of the time...the total opposite of what he's been used to at West Ham. Still a good player but a better fit for a mid table or just above team.I'd take him at City. Worth a punt. You need a few older/experienced players in a squad I think. But he doesn't fit our profile, so very unlikely.

Come on; they were never going to stay up. Do you seriously think they would, even if they won that night. As for being in front of their own fans, that's not always an advantage. Look at Villa tonight. Pretty toxic atmosphere among those who haven't already pissed off.
