Oliver is our best ref apparently. What himself there. 2 mins added on. 47th minute and just after a lengthy stoppage for the non red card

Not to mention he's deliberately stood in the way of our passes about a dozen times, to prevent us switching it quickly.

Doku is world class. There, I said it. The guy is a threat every single time he gets the ball. Not many players in the world have such a consistent impact with every action they make.
And paired with Semenyo on the other side, we have a lethal set of wingers.

FUCK OFF VAR.

Spent a week hearing how Anderson should have gone but his calf luckily touched the ball..
Same challenge, no touch on the ball and still a yellow

What is the point of VAR? At this point it would be best if they binned it off - that was a shocker of a tackle and interesting to me that Oliver was so quick to get the yellow out thus influencing the VAR team. VAR has no purpose in the modern game only to make sure inept refs don't be embarrassed.

A fantastic controlled half with a bit of sheer quality to grab the lead. Hopefully they will come out a bit now and we can use the space behind. How Everton fans can enjoy this non football is beyond me. I just hope we get a second early and not have 45 mins of them scrapping for a goal by any means fair or foul.
