Possibly though not clear (he would have to be well out of arm reach). But in the heat of the moment you can't blame Haaland for just focusing on the ball. But more to the point, I dont understand why some are focused on 1 disallowed goal in a whole season. There are all manner of ifs and buts - and prob 50 more relevant ifs. But we are where we are - focus on what's ahead.

Yes this race feels alot different because we could win all our remaining games and still miss out, I also have a weird depressing scenario in my head regarding would I rather just miss out on the last day and lose on GD or drop points before that and lose against them on points and the title already be wrapped up on the last day of the season , Itd have to be the latter for me personally, I hope we win every game and bag a fair few on the way to ease the anxiety.

We have to take it the last day and hopefully be at least level on points with them. Last days are weird. QPR, Villa 2022. Even 2024 got a bit tense when Kudus scored with the bicycle kick. We just need to keep winning

Even a draw is a bad result for West Ham.

I just don’t have any faith in other teams, wouldn’t trust them as far as I could throw them.
 
Unfortunately got a feeling we will drop a point or two but hopefully we smash all before us and win the league!
 
Walk before you run regarding goal difference. I liken it to golf analogy if a player is a few shots behind some players will start attempting risky shots, before they know it they’re even further behind. Focus on the now and just concentrate on getting the first goal , hopefully we can then push on and let the rest take care of itself. With a bit of luck and being clinical we can get a 2 goal cushion and I’ll be more than happy with that. 2-0 tonight and 2-0 against Brentford and the pressure heats back up on Arsenal.
 
We don't drop all those points from January to early February and this result doesn't hurt as much. We earned the position we've found ourselves in, but it was always going to be hard to win out with the same XI playing every game.

We're a year into the rebuild.

But very annoying how we've thrown it away tonight.
 
We are certainly better than last season but still not quite the same level of side when we won titles.

Comgrats to Arsenal if and when they do eventually win it. On balance they probably deserve it.

Second half we just threw it away.
 
Tonight is another in a long line of shocking performances and poor results against teams we should be blowing away. This lot are title winners.

Yet.
