That was a crazy game!

I thought we played very well first half after a lovely Doku goal and were in total control and then poor defensive mistakes from pretty much all of our back 4 in the 2nd half gave them 3 goals. I think we missed Rodri's calmness quite a lot today and some of our players looked quite tired.

In the end though I was pleased that we somehow managed to get get it back to 3-3 with another 2 lovely goals late on.

Anyway, it's a point and we now have to hope that Arsenal drop points somewhere, however unlikely it seems.

Where the fuck was that energy and fight for the previous 90 minutes?

I still think the title is done and all this paranoid waffle about referees, it might make some of you feel better but the truth is tonight’s performance was a shambles and we were lucky to get a point let alone deserve anything more.

They targeted the space between our LB/RB and CBs effectively. Nunes looked poor is defense and Khusanov/Guehi turned into those times we used to have an ageing Demichelis trying to protect counters. Not sure what happened with both of them.

Khusanov very young and Guehi new to City, they're just not used to this kind of test yet. They were always gonna have a night like this, just a shame it happened on the same night. People writing off Dias and Gvardiol, do so at your peril.

Definitely two points dropped but Doku's goal at the end there just keeps us alive and gives Arsenal a reminder that they're not gonna walk away with it. West Ham get a point, or win, next week and it's immediately back on. Over to them.

Not good enough.

On that and Burnley showing, Bournemouth is going to a tough tough watch.
We haven’t been good away from home all season. It’s not been great despite the odd decent performance. Burnley was worrying but this was a capitulation.

At 1-1 we had 25 mins left and we completely panicked. Inexperience cost us tonight:

At least if nothing else that goal will stop them dirty cunts finishing any higher.

That was a terrible error for their first goal. Shocking.

We have seen this game so many times this season…

Get a goal, in control, then we just stop going fwd, we drift, not attacking, not defending…like some kind of hypnosis.

Which leaves you open to bonkers variables, like bad decisions, and individual howlers.

I think it’s a miracle we are still this close to competing for the league, it doesn’t feel or look like a title winning team, but I’m more positive for next season than I was say Jan time.

Seems that the Arsenal match clearly was the Lord Mayor's show - since then, 2x momentum-losers.

We need to absolutely cane somebody then we have a chance. Arsenal will be thinking they've won it now, a draw for them somewhere and it's back on.

4 shots on target against a mid-table team though - when you're going for the title - isn't really going to cut the mustard.

All attackers except Doku should have done more at 1–0 instead of walking and passing sideways, thinking they had already won.

A proper game of two halves by the way. I thought first half we were good and created some decent chances.

Started the second as if we were happy with the 1-0 and just invited pressure onto us.

Thank God for Jez
