Garbage. We were the better team overall, a few mad moments, weird offside rule where you're offside then you're not, and the second was a foul on Khus in my opinion.

We were shit and placid. How many saves did Pickford have to make. How many touches did Haaland have. Defence all over the shop. No Rodri means no control

Bournemouth didn’t have to play against a low block.. they were a counter team so he had space to run.. here we slow everything down bc the other team always have 10 back

Think tonight also shows how vital Rodri is in general, but especially to this group of players

We just cant get the ball moving without him. Bernardo tries his best, but hes just not forward thinking, and has to spend his time directing Guehi and Khusanov

Nico G just simply not good enough, and Kovacic cameo just shows our lack of depth and quality in central areas

Dias and Gvardiol probably walk back in when fit, purely because of their experience in these types of games, add Rodri to that and you can see what were missing at the moment

Some of them need to toughen up and realise that they've stepped up numerous levels to be here; some really poor performances from some that have felt the pressure for the first time

The subconscious knowledge that a point may do them might make them drop mentality 1%.

We could have scored loads against that team. For the first 20 minutes of the second half it was 50:50 whether every pass was backwards or forwards. Sometimes a difficult back pass was the preferred option.

2nd half performance was dire , Everton could have scored six , the fact we scraped a draw is a bonus , not sure what footwear our players were wearing tonight it looked like Billy Connolly's banana boots.
Nunes and Guehi had nightmares , Khusanov not much better we will be rightly pilloried for tonight , actually thought we were improving over the last few weeks but this was diabolical against a poor Everton team , Doku saved us from total embarrassment if he had a Real Madrid shirt on his back he would be world class.

I've been wondering why Gonzalez hasn't played more in the last few months - tonight showed it. Absolutely miles off it and I thought a genuinely terrible performance from him - and I've rated him before now

Maybe there's a twist or two yet. We'll see.

It was one of his worst games I thought.

He’s deemed not offside as Guehi played it but was offside as the ball was played through so was gaining an advantage from being in that position,the ref and VAR tonight were a shambles,but is anyone actually surprised it’s been happening to us consistently over the years ..
