Everton (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Having had a few moments to revisit my posts after the game - I will say the through ball from Kovacic was a quality pass - I was perhaps a little unfair but even so, I still think he was at fault for their 3rd goal- stay on his feet and get between man and ball and the move was over - he just hasn't got the pace anymore and for that reason he must move on and we need to buy another top class centre now Bernie is off.

I stick with my opinion of Phil - the season end can't come soon enough for him. I hope he can reset and get back in track because at the moment he is not giving us enough.

For next year we must get a player in the middle that plays on the edge and wins 50/50's - that will allow our attacking players room to work with. Anderson has looked good recently but it will come down to how much we would have to pay. There must be others that fit that role for less but it is a key position.

Come on you Hammers at the weekend...

No but they did fold at 1-1 when they had 25 mins left! They need to wise up or some of them will never win a league. We needed someone to stick the boot in on them tonight but we don’t have anyone anymore.
It’ll be good experience. I agree we shouldn’t have needed to be chasing a game 3-1 down but we were and they did well to get a point.

If we'd have stormed back and got a 3-3 in that derby at Old Trafford a few months back, i would have been ecstatic and delighted with the point .... but right now, in a tight title run in, that draw at Everton tonight feels more like a defeat.

It's offside. Only one Everton ahead of play soon as he runs towards the ball he's offside.

Don't get me started on the Keane red
Nah, it’s onside mate as Guehi had control of the ball

Agree with the Keane red tho

Great comeback, but we completely lost our rhythm in the 2nd half

Could end up being an important point

Does Guehi pass it back to Donnarumma if Barry isn't pressing him from an offside position? No? Then he's interfering with play and it's offside.
If he was under pressure hed have gone out to the touchline and gone down the line

You could see as soon as he passed it back that his face dropped, he knew hed fucked up

Deep down we knew this team weren’t ready to be champions. We desperately need two full backs (Nunes is not a defender and doesn’t think like a defender.) a central midfielder (Anderson) and a striker that we’re allowed to play when Haaland isn’t at it or needs a rest.

It was fucking Everton and for twenty minutes of second half they ALL played walking football

And as for sky showing everything bar the game going on just wow
