Everton (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Yet another game where we didn't take advantage of our chances. Much like Burnley and Southampton.

We just dropped points to a shit team.

All depends if Arse's opponents roll over like Fulham, or have a go.

One thing's for sure, none of their 3 opponents get those decisions or will be allowed to play hard against them.

The PL has become a joke with inconsistent refereeing and this mad last month schedule with 75% of teams on the beach for league games.

Luckily, Wham have it all to play for and Arse don't cope well with being in control.

Btw, those fans that walked out at 3 - 1, Fuck Off, and when you get there Fuck Off again!
Neither do we. We had the game in our hands at halftime. All we had to do is play a professional second half and push for a second but we fucked about on the edge of their D. It was like a switch, you could sense it there was a passage of play where Everton got a bit of momentum and our heads went. It was only when we went 3-1 behind that we suddenly found some undiscovered energy.

I think any fan would have been happy to be within striking distance this far in, considering how poorly we started. My only question is how to reinforce/replace Rodders. We are clearly worse when he isn’t playing.

Perhaps because at Bournemouth under Iraola they play with a bit of pace and move the ball about. Makes a huge difference!
Most likely it. Doubt we would’ve signed him if we knew he had a poor ball control. Like you say he was probably running onto the ball in plenty of space rather than receiving it in tight spaces and it tended to disguise his first touch. Hopefully this will improve overtime.

And talking about Haaland, the first and only time we slip a pass through for him to run on to he only goes and scores. Fucking surprise surprise what a surprise that was. Do it more often FFS!

It winds me up

He's always in position and looking to make those runs, and pretty much no defender can match his pace, yet we rarely look for that pass.

To be fair to Kova, he's one player that does get his head up and look for him and that's the result.

People always talk about "low block" but the fair we move up the pitch so slowly and side to side means teams are naturally going to have time to get men back. Go more direct sometimes and they can't do that.

Who u calling a muppet? It's offside.

DM me we'll see who the muppet is. Rag
Well I see your name from the quote so clearly you.
