Will we win the league this season? No

I don’t think the Arsenal team is a good team, merely the best of a bad bunch.

I mean, fucking hell, they were/are on the cusp of bottling a 9 point lead under no pressure purely because their brand of football isn’t good. They’ve limped within touching distance of the finish line and if they do then fair play, but they are not a “good” side!
Agreed. I've said for the last while that they're only up there because ourselves and others have taken their foot off the gas this season.

It is the hope that kills they say! I was elated after we beat Arse but less so after Burnley. Arsenal playing two games at home did for us, although Newcastle had two easy chances which could have made a difference.

I always knew Everton were not a given. They have become tough to beat but I did not see our defence going back to their pre Jan give aways!

For me its on this weekend. We need to win (forget goal difference though more would be better) and hope Arse drop points. If they win then for me they are home and dry!
I hope the players aren’t forgetting about GD. It’s well beyond the point of just winning. If we smash Brentford it will send a message to Arsenal we are still here.

Remember Ferguson won the league title before he left

Yes, but we play Brentford, Bournemouth, villa in those 4 games. All top sides

Arsenal play a relegated Burnley and what is 100% going to be palaces B team with their final coming up 3 days later

Arsenal will most certainly end up with a better GD in my opinion. Delighted to be proven wrong, of course
3 of our games at home. I would expect us to win those all comfortably. And Villa could be coming off a europa league triumph with nothing to play for

Ok winning comfortably but compare to the tarquins, GD won't be in our favour. Plus Bournemouth away

On what planet do you think we will win those home games comfortably ? Have you not watched us this season ?

At least we play first. Get a good win and put some pressure on, then hope West Ham can do us the favour we now need.

I'm not fully confident we can do our job, but this weekend might be the last chance we have to apply pressure.

I just cannot see Arsenal failing to beat Burnley or Palace but we have to make their life as hard as possible so they can't rest up for the CL final. We cannot give them an easy ride, them winning the league would be difficult enough to deal with but a CL on top would be horrific even if the World Cup prevented too much talk about it.

Our home record this season is pretty good, so yes we should be expected to win those games. However, without Rodri it will be more difficult.

I watched us thrash the scousers 4-0 and beat Arse in our last 2 home games. it would be a major surprise if we dont beat brentford and palace and we are well capable of putting 3 or 4 past either or both

The Rags hold the record for the biggest points gap to not go on and win it: 1997-98 they were 14 points clear of Arsenal and Arsenal won the league.
They only lead by about 5 or 6 points though, Arsenal were close to mid table.

All that has to happen is we TCB tomorrow and West Ham fight for their lives and take points.

Arse fans have redoubled and are already celebrating the title again before it's done.

Fuck them.

Or overall record is actually very good, the only league defeat this year has been against the rags and that was away. Unfortunately people forget all that and only tend to concentrate on the negatives.

The reality is that nobody really gave us a prayer at the start of the season, yet here we are, still in with a chance AND with a trophy in the bank and another cup final to play.

You never know how results will go, we're easily capable and we're more likely to win our home matches than not win them. The Bournmouth match is also winable, they might be a half decent side but they're not on our level.

As for Arsenal, they only managed a draw at Wolves after being 2 goals up and they only won the home tie 2-1 fans to an injury time own goal - in fact both their goals were own goals. Their overall performances haven't been that good for the past 3 months for the most part, even when they have managed to grind out results.

So anything can still happen yet. Weren't Liverpool favourites at the start?

IMO, we have not once looked like we have had the hunger to win the League this Season!

We have lost one league game out of 16 in 2026, we have also dropped 10 points after leading games in that time!

We won't win the league this year because it's more about if Arsenal 'bottle' it than if City win another domestic Treble to a lot of blues!

We are in a title race by mistake, Pep is building a young squad for next season and doesn't think they are ready yet, that is why he didn't let Arsenal win the League Cup!

And even if you look back dropping points to informant and West Ham shouldn’t have happened considering the difference in quality and where they were in table when we faced them
