Playing very well. We've limited Brentford to virtually nothing. The lads up front have got to take some responsibility though. So many openings and chances just not being taken. Haaland the guiltiest of them all - but for his 50p head we'd be 2-0 up.

One of those games where the other team is really organised, defending deep and you're kind of relying on a mistake, bit of magic or a break of the ball.

Cherki’s positioning was really poor. He kept dropping too deep and coming too close to the ball, so all he could do was play simple passes back. He should stay higher around the box and look for open channels to receive passes instead of closing the space himself by turning away from goal. That just made it easy for the opposition to stand tight behind him and shut him down every time.

Watching his first touch makes you realise just how good Mahrez was. You can see why he started at Bristol.

Not seen Haaland run across his man once and that cross has made it to the penalty spot every time, Haaland isn't gambling at all, neither is Cherki, neither is Semenyo.

I would swap Semenyo for Foden

Haaland stood at back post like a lamppost, why doesn't he try attacking the near post sometimes

The one time he did vs Liverpool he scored a hat trick and it was our best performance of the season.

Pep must make the substitutions at half time but we know he wont make the changes until we fall behind. His game management is definitely his weak spot.

well, this is not great to be frank, we really need to put Arse under pressure by winning this

Sorry dude, as much as I hate to say it, if we can't comfortably beat Everton or Brentford at home, we ain't coming away with much (if anything) from Bournmouth away or the last game against Villa.

I really hope we do it somehow, but my mind is already settled for second eplace and hopefully two cups. We're just not THAT City team anymore. The one that went pedal to the mtal end of each season and blew past all comers.
