Premier League Games | 9/10/11/13 May '26

Executive chairman Richard Scudamore says the Premier League has a "strategic plan" to enable more clubs to win the title.

Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ from the Premier League launch in Islington, north London, he said: "Without being disrespectful to any club, we have a strategic plan at the Premier League and the strategic plan says putting a new name on the trophy in every six-year period.
Utter shady thing to say. Who says that sort of shit?

You just know palace will play out their skin on Wednesday and then roll over for arsenal...
The only thing that might affect that is it’s Glasner’s last game - hopefully he/they will want to go out on a high rather than a whimper.

That’s what I’m hanging on to anyway.

It’s not over until it’s over, but it feels like it is now.

Nothing to admire about this Arsenal team.

It’s noting to do with sour grapes. I don’t like the way their fans and players and club conducts itself. Said it many times over the last couple of seasons.

It might not be bent but it certainly leaves room for bias/unfairness to win.

Poor team and a poor league.

Need to improve to take it back and set the standard again.

Wasn't a high quality game, but still gripping due to the importance of it, and then the ref spoils everything at the end. So frustrating.

It was as clear as day a foul.
Arm across and holding Raya's arm.
Don't see what the problem is.

They got one hand on the league now, we have to accept it.
Be piss funny if Burnley did something but it's into miracle time.

They've been top all season for a reason.

Maybe palace might throw a spanner in you never know but we're needing snookers now.
only problem is that Arsenal won´t get those calls most of the time, thats the only problem. I agree it was a foul.

The decision was correct but as we know so many Arsenal set pieces should have been ruled out.
Has it ever been confirmed if Var can hear the commentary?
The decision wasn’t correct. Ratty was narrating the VAR room
Conversation. They noted the rice foul but said the goalkeeper incident came first. It didn’t. That should have been a penalty.

They are always given as fouls. He doesn’t just touch both keepers arms but hea actually got a grip of one of them.

An easy decision for the officials to give and the length of time can only be for all the other holding going on around it. Rice looked to have a good hold of someone on another day is a penalty
They are not 'always given'.
