Premier League Games | 9/10/11/13 May '26

Exactly my thoughts, I thought VAR was for clear and obvious mistakes. The ref gave the goal
It took far too long for that goal to be disallowed ... VAR couldn't make their minds up, passed it back to the ref who couldn't make his mind up either, and took the easy option, didn't want Arteta on his back.

The decision wasn’t correct. Ratty was narrating the VAR room
Conversation. They noted the rice foul but said the goalkeeper incident came first. It didn’t. That should have been a penalty.
Are we sure they get commentary I am sure they have said they don’t

Absolutely. We were given chance after chance to win this league but fluffed our lines every time after making up ground. All those draws in January killed us.
Yep, in the first seven days of January we dropped 6 points from three games we should have won. Those games and a few others (Spurs at home, Everton away) means weve gone from home and dry to probably coming up short.

Being ahead vs Chelsea, Brighton, Spurs, Forest, West Ham & Everton and not winning a single one of those since the turn of the year, is what's done us in - not a VAR call today. Onwards and upwards into the FA Cup final which needs winning
If VAR had ruled out the first Spurs goal (which it should have) we’re three points better off. Stop talking shit. We should have more points than we have, they should have less. End off!

Amongst all the controversy, I thought West Ham gave it a very good go against Arsenal and West Ham on balance of the match deserved to win the game. A goal against when West Ham were very much close to scoring and in the ascendency. Then VAR!

Did VAR or the ref look at the fouls by Trossard or Rice or was all the focus on Raya.

If it was a clear and obvious error why did it take so long?

No doubt Webb will say it’s a great decision and just what VAR is for. Contrast that decision with yesterday when both Haaland and Doku were manhandled to ground and nothing given.

Utter fucking garbage. Even from someone as negative as you, that's an absolute joke of a comment. We wouldn't be in a title race, cup final and have a trophy in the back if we were anywhere near what you suggest. You're not Blue.
So we’ve not let them off the hook about 4 or 5 times this season?
Once this week.
We’ve not strolled out for multiple second halves this season?
Just cos I’m not a happy clapper doesn’t make me any less of a Blue.
I’ve been a City fan for 40+ years.
Not that it matters.
You’re obviously angry by today’s result.
I’ll concentrate more on our results, which haven’t been good enough.
Our work rate, movement and mentality hasn’t been good enough in certain games, Monday being a prime example of that.
Until the mad panic at the end of the game.
arsenal aren’t a very good team and neither are we currently.
Far too inconsistent.

It's still on. Remember how hard we made it to get across the line at QPR. Palace won't be a roll over.

We’ve just not been good enough this season, no shame in that. Pushed it all the way. Focus on the cup, and two domestic cups has been a really good season as we rebuild.
We may not have been good enough but we still should have won the league and if all teams were refereed fairly over the course of the season, we would have already.

Crazy if we go full strength against Palace. Focus on the cup, the leagues gone!!
Jesus fucking Christ!

Bet you were thinking they'd win 4 nowt today?

Full strength to beat Palace, Bournemouth and Villa

Make them win their last 2 games.

After today I'm not so sure it's straightforward, they laboured against a crap Wham and the game still ended 1- 1 but the result was manipulated.
