I agree with this. It is a foul, as soon as you touch a keeper in a way that prevents them from claiming the ball, it should be ruled as a foul. Raya's arm and shoulder was being pulled, there's two fouls on the keeper. There was wrestling going on amongst all the players in the box, but for me as soon as the keeper is intentionally blocked/touched, its a foul.Prior to the weekend, I believed that this weekend would provide the pivotal swing, Arsenal should now get over the line and, if anything, City might be mentally more on the Cup now and drop points at Bournemouth.
I also believe that the Arsenal keeper was fouled, and would expect it to be disallowed. In the context of the season and all that Arsenal have got away with, it makes it seem a fairly preposterous and unusual decision, but it was a foul. As for all the other fouls, it's ridiculous, and when they clamp down on it again next season it will only add fuel to the conspiratorial fires.
It's out of our hands that is a fact, but we have 3 games left we need to win them and score as many goals as possible.
Arsenal have 2 games...if they draw one( this is football it's possible) then its goal difference.
This could be our Gillingham moment..
COME ON CITY !!
Yes, Percy!!!We have to believe, we need to win all three premier league games and then hope that Burnley or Palace do us a favour, remember final day of the season nerves, its not over until the fat lady sings, fight till the end, Come On Blues.
Maybe not. But maybe. Dickov and Aguero know about maybe.Maybe not this season, our team has done very well considering we are undergoing a rebuild.
Next season watch us go and smash the league.
The towel was thrown by many on here before Christmas - just 4 months into the season.Beat Palace, and the gap is 2 points. It is not the moment to throw in the towel. It is not even 2-0 down at Wembley vs Gillingham with 5 minutes to go. Not even close to that.
Introspection is for later.I think it’s unlikely we’ll win the PL now and if we don’t we have to be honest about the causes. It’s not our recent form, refereeing or even VAR (which has been a shambles from the word go and every club has either benefitted or suffered from its inconsistency on a weekly basis). We have to go back to a terrible January/early February to see where we lost it: drab home draws with Brighton and managerless Chelsea, a poor performance on defeat at United and throwing a two goal lead away at Spurs who were in terrible form and there for the taking. Then a later home draw with Forest from being two up. We will have lost the title this season because we have not been as clinical in games as we have over pre ious years. Let’s not bother with excuses, let’s be big enough to accept (as seems likely) we won the league because we haven’t been quite good enough this time round.
It's all a big scrum.Its all a big scam.
