We have to repeat the Brentford game, and win well given that Arsenal have Burnley at home.

Most City fans will think it's all over now, but it isn't. It's all over if City don't beat Palace, Bournemouth and Villa.

I want a scenario where we go into the final game knowing that a City win, and Arsenal draw at Palace wins City the title. Seeing Arsenal today, makes me think this is possible.
It is still possible - but there's nothing now that we can do to interfere with what is looking almost like a coronation next Monday - a packed night match, final home game, thinking that they've virtually done it and looking forward to a CL final.

The absolute high of beating Arsenal seems a long time ago, now.

Reading some of these previous comments, always think it's weird to a) be a supporter of a rival club and make an account here and spend hours getting involved in various threads, and b) for the rest of us to get annoyed by said rival fan
No one gets annoyed when myself and the other 115 Chelsea fans get involved.

It was always going to be unfortunately, there was still plenty of football to play following the arsenal game, and difficult games at that. Even after that one i felt we were still second favourites, mainly due to the run in we had and the fact Arsenal had two straight forward home games before we next kicked a ball.

Important win for us in our hardest remaining game now Burnley next, that was the hardest watch for me all season but got the crucial 3 points, now i can put my feet up and watch you fight it out with palace. How anyone can argue against the foul at the end is beyond me the player had hold of keepers arm and moved it down clear foul.
How many fouls can you spot in this pic ?

The issue is Arsenal dropping 2 points. Stranger things have happened though.
To be fair- it's not really that strange. If Arsenal win the title- they will have been the weakest and least inspired club to do so in my memory.

They were a whisker away from being down a goal to 18th place West Ham just yesterday- and I bet if that goal had gone in, they would have lost the match- imploded on themselves. After that- and then having gone ahead they again required baling out by VAR in absolute last moments of extra time.

Even Arsenal fans expect them to fail.

I'm not going to lose sleep over it- we weren't supposed to even be in the situation we are in, but through our work ethic and their penchant for capitulation- we are still in it.

Best available team for me. Keep going as we only have three league games left plus the final.
We could rotate a wee bit. Marmoush and Foden should be fresh and looked lively v Brentford. I can see Dias maybe getting some time too. Kova and gonzo are midfield options too. If we do rotate it usually goes wrong when there are 5 or 6 changes but one or two could be good

What about the second yellow Rodri should have got in the Tottenham game ? What about when kusa brought down havertz that should have been red or the pen eze should have got in atleti? I can bring other examples notice how we all can complain ?Bad decisions is not only exclusive to one club, infact a lot of other fans complain you guys have had decisions go your way a lot over these last years but I for one don’t bring these up.
I don't know what Rodri second yellow you are talking about but you are in the wrong post code bringing up that game as their 1st "goal" was one of the worst decisions of the season (alongside some of your setpiece goals) with Solanki kicking Guehi's foot to force the ball into the net.

Bit of a weird game in that both teams have finals coming up, can see it being a bit low key tbh. Probs a routine 3-1 or something. We need to win just in case Arsenal fuck up, however unlikely that now is.

Would rest a couple and give a couple of players a chance to prove themselves for the final (Marmoush, Foden).

The league is done. Win the cup and we're good.

I think Palace will rotate. I think we should too. Perhaps give Dias a run out. Keep Ake in. But I think it really depends on how the game progresses. We get out to a good start, I think Pep rotates at the half or at the 55th minute. I think goal difference and/or goals scored is important, but I think it has to be looked at in context of where we're at in the league title race and what looms on Saturday.

Can see Pep making changes

donna
nunes
guehi
ake
ait-nueri
berny
gonzo
foden
savinho
Haaland
Marmoush

We need to rack up a few goals and keep the pressure on the Goons , because the way they played against West Ham only proves their arses are twitching , even Burnley could give them a fright , stranger things have happened , the Goons and their over emotional fans will go into that game thinking they only have to turn up to win , could be a big mistake.
Come on you Clarets :)

I'm sure most of us are well pissed off with yesterday's shenanigans at West ham and probably feel the title is gone. But I think we should go strong on Wednesday and not give up. There may be a tendency to rest players for the final but I would be more pissed off if we drew one of our last 3 games and Arsenal only managed a draw at Palace than I would be losing to Chelsea on Saturday
