Agree with you, 100%. Especially the "not aimed at you" bit! Apparently, his career is flatlining on the other side of the pond. But, as an alternative to expelling Southampton from the play off final, it has its merits.

Listening to talksport now. This sounds like a right mess with Middlesbrough and Saints.

Boro players have been told to report for training tomorrow and not go on their holidays. Gibson saying he is adamant they should be put in the final if it’s proven Saints spied on them. Potential of the final being moved to the mid week between PL season ending and the CL final.
 
Uproar about Southampton ‘cheating’: something that happened all the time when City trained at Carrington but silence on that.
 
The whole thing is daft, it's a lad on his iPhone in a place he's allowed to be.

Fine them, warn them about future conduct. In no way should that be a sporting sanction.
 
The hearing to be held 4 days before the scheduled match, it's gonna get very messy, will be funny if Southampton get kicked out.

But at the end of the day, what about City :)
