Haven't been on Blue Moon for a good while and only regularly again within the last month or so. Ironically enough I was thinking of her as one of the regular posters I'd see on here and not heard of since I'd been back online.

Of course I thought of her quite a lot and knew how devastated she'd have been with John Stones moving on and that emotional video he did. The fact I hadn't seen EB post in those particular threads I did find a bit odd.

Hit me right in the feels this. RIP Eccles Blue.

When Johnny boy came on last night and the crowd were singing his name, the first thing I thought was Eccles would of been in her element. Such a shame she couldn't of been there. :(

Just back from the funeral and I'm pleased to say she had a great send off. Good turn out from her OSC branch. plus Danny Wilson and his secretary Suzanne were there as well.

Her family asked me to pass on their thanks for all the messages on here. They were absolutely blown away by the outpouring of love for Sheila.

It was a moving service ........bluemoon nearly had me blubbering.

She has a massive and lovely family. All over the world too. France and Canada to name a few.

Good to hear Danny was there representing the club. Hopefully it’ll be of some comfort to her family that City have recognised her support and loyalty.
