BBC and United reach a new low (FA Youth Cup related - City champions)

Why is anybody bothered about the bbc reporting this and why are they angry they're reporting this? Somebody whinges, shows themselves up to be the ultimate sore loser and people are angry that is being reported? I'd be annoyed if it wasn't. This level of patheticness needs all the attention it can get.

I am struggling to see how the BBC could have possibly passed that whinging diatribe as actual news rather than coming straight out and tell us who they wanted to win. The Stone creature must have interviewed Fletcher whilst they were both sticking pins into an effigy of Pep.

Presented by Rick Parry, shouldn’t have let him in the building
Thought it was him. Looked either ill or just knackered. As others have mentioned he had a face like a slapped arse, as if he was really pissed off, - and got zero back from the City players. Brilliant.

What actual job/role does he do that someone thinks he's the best candidate to give out those medals anyway.

Diarrhoea is a digestive condition characterized by the frequent passage of loose, watery stools, typically occurring three or more times in a single day, on rare occasions the excrement can be expelled orally.

screw the EFL off with operation big picture

they couldve obviously played it at the huge worlds greatest football clubs academy stadium Oh hang on they havent got one ok leigh sports village then it's nearer other cheek of arse liverpool than manchester

Yea and playing at the swamp the players could watch a replays of their goals on the big screen

Citys name came out of the final draw BEFORE Uniteds, and so it was apparently our perogative to stage the youth cup final where we wanted to stage it, and where we thought we had the best chance of winning it .. even though the FA would have preferred it to be have been staged at the Etihad, City maintained it wasn't possible or safe to do so at the present time ..... so City were always gonna stage it where they thought they had the best chance of actually winning it, weren't they?... and that obviously wasn't gonna be Uniteds ground !

Had we switched it to Old Trafford does Fletcher seriously think that it wouldn't have hugely tipped the chances of winning into Uniteds favour ???

Him also moaning about the sequence of celebratory events etc that followed the full time whistle is all a bit petty and ridiculous.

People are bothered because if I want to watch City on sky or just watch any other tv channel apart from the bbc, I still have to pay the bbc not to watch them.

It's like paying sainsbury 200quid so I can shop in tesco !

I’m not really a fan of a one-off final with home advantage decided by a draw. For the sake of fairness, two legged is much better.

But having said that, those are the rules that clubs sign up to. If you get drawn at home in the final, you get all the benefits that brings. If last night had been at the swamp, it all would have been a horrible rag-fest and we’d have had to grin and bear it.

If Carrick or anyone else from that lot isn’t happy about it they need to stay low key, go through the correct channels and speak to whoever deals with this at the FA. A public moaning binge straight after the final is very poor, though not surprising.

Edit: I meant Fletcher not Carrick. But they’re all cut from the same cloth.
