I thought Troyes have just been promoted to the top flight ? I would leave him where he is. Echeverri, for example, should have been loaned back to River Plate. Instead, we brought him to Europe too soon and his career path is muddled.

So leave him in South America so he doesnt acclimatise to european football? Not the brightest of ideas. He has stalled because he insisted on a loan and refused the two City lined up where he would have been playing

Yeah I think we do. However, whats "fair" is not an exact science. But I would assume that paying €25m for a French 2nd division player is near the top end of what we can get away with.
