Game Day. Quick dog walk down here in the countryside & then start the long haul up to Wembley.
Looking for Blues on each station stop, arguing whether Phil & Rodri should be starting with my son, trying to find the Green Man & then seeing how late we can leave it before racing back for the last train.
See you later!
Your son is starting? Hope he has a great game - hattrick would be nice!! Have a fantastic day

So, apart from 1969 I was only 4, managed to go arse over elbow down a flight of stairs and ended up in A&E with what turned out to be a hairline fracture of the skull. This accident happened when I rushed to the top of the stairs in our home upon hearing a commotion downstairs - Neil Young scoring - my sister came running behind me and knocked me flying!

This is my first FA Cup Final I shall miss. I could have got a ticket, plenty of points, it’s just that I haven’t been to a single game this season in any of the cups out of choice. It’s not financial, I just think the time has come to let the next generation take the lead. It’s also not fair to just expect to turn up for the big occasions and attend when some other more deserving person has attended the earlier rounds in the hope that they would have a chance of a ticket today.

For context, Istanbul was my last European trip - something changed during and after with regard to the events on that bloody car park that night in my soul regarding football as a whole.

Although, giving up my season ticket will not be happening - ever!

The last 3 cup finals and the utter chaos around trying to get in and Blue on Blue mither have made even the 12 second final seem more of a chore than a pleasure.

Watching it on the tellybox today I shall still be a bag of nerves until I switch on at 3pm.

Enjoy your day all who are making the journey, stay safe and bring that lovely shiny pot back to Manchester.

CTID.

As you were my fellow Blues.

Stay clear of Green Man, awful establishment

Feel like it's going to be a tight game today. We should beat them, but as we know all too well anything can happen in a one-off final. My only worry is that if Rodri isn't fit we could get overpowered in midfield with James, Caicedo and Fernandez up against Bernardo and whoever is selected. Foden's looked great in a deeper role last two games, but it'd be a bit of a lightweight midfield for a clash like this. He might be tempted to put O'Reilly in there but I hope not, as he's far more effective at left-back.

I saw the Chelsea game v Liverpool and Chelsea after a nervous start played some very good football and controlled most of the game at Anfield. They look a much better side under their caretaker manager. Passing and movement was slicker.

We can’t judge Chelsea on the majority of their form from the PL this season.
Let's hear it for Chelsea! FFS.

We're the better team, end of.

Could potentially do Gvardiol at LB and O’Reilly in midfield.
