Chelsea (N) | FA Cup Final | Post Match Thread

First to go unbeaten in BOTH domestic cup competitions in the same season apparently, although I don't really get it. Others have won both trophies in the past (including ourselves of course), so how do they get to do that unless they're unbeaten in both? The comment didn't make any sense to me.
First team to win both cups without having to win on penalties or via a replay at some point.

A rather pedestrian and frustrating game. The decision to play Marmoush ahead of both Cherki and Foden was baffling. Cherki’s energy made all the difference when he came on and a very neat finish from Semenyo meant we avoided losing three cup finals on the trot.
So a cup double is not to be sniffed at.
Jeeeze, hope you're not on here after a poor result.

it's as if he is unable to listen to other people who are sat next to him pronouncing it correctly.
thick as fuck.
Glenda is exactly the same.

Even when the commentator is pronouncing players' names correctly, Hoddle has his own idea of how they should be said, and it’s fucking annoying!

Congratulations MCFC, another FA Cup win, feels good after the last 2 finals. Pleased for Bernie and Stones who at least played his part in the semi win.

Thought we played alright, and Chelsea not bad to be fair, apart from all the diving trying to get penalties every time the were in the box. Doubled up on Doku, lets hope not many team do that.

First team to WIN all 12 domestic cup games in one season.

NOT go unbeaten. There is a difference.

Every pundit saying we can't win the league. Rooney now at it Ain't over yet rug head.
To be fair almost everybody on here has been saying we can't win the league since the Everton match. The doom mongers eased off a bit after the Palace win but the mood changes with every result. Had we lost today nobody would be giving us a chance of the title.

I was responding to an earlier post which said "Twice the commentators said City are the first team to go unbeaten in domestic competitions…."
