Chelsea (N) | FA Cup Final | Post Match Thread

Yes - apologies, I have found him - he did a watchalong - I am viewing it now.

I don't know what happened earlier - silly me.

Jonny was great when the goal went in, that is all I wanted to see.
I don't do the watchalongs, either at game/ on tv. But Jonny Typical City is the only content creator I watch after every game/ each video he posts. He's articulate, amusing, City knowledgeabld, insightful and just a good all round watch.

Jonny Morris born 1988. I like him.

Doesn’t get any better than seeing City winning the FA Cup Final at Wembley

Really mature performance from the boys, you could see how the League Cup win had transformed them on the big stage

Great backing from the fans too, a marvellous day all around and fair play to Chelsea fans (certainly the ones I encountered) who took the defeat like grown ups
The same chelsea fans that were singing “Your support is fcukin shit”

All defenders have a howler in them, even the best ones. His just happened very early into his debut. That's about all that happened. As you say, Akanji didn't help.

I've no doubt he'll have another howler or two in his career. Guehi had one recently. It happens.

Pathetic that pundits can't let go of it 18 months later. You could quite easily make a compilation of shite defending and shockers for all the defenders they want to suck off.
Exactly, many goals come from mistakes by defenders but none has been highlighted as much as this one.

In the positive side he looks like he's as hard as nails and doesn't give a toss what anybody things, he's going to get in there where 99% of defenders will back off and concede a goal as a result.

Given the current appalling standard of refereeing and the amount of play-acting that goes on now he's probably going to give away a few free kicks, maybe even penalties and pick up cards but he's going to prevent an awful lot more than he concedes. Stunning talent for his age.

Used to watch him a lot, one of the more level headed ones but in recent months he's been a bit more whingy, like on the post match threads, when things haven't gone our way

After he finished doing "Animal Magic"?

;-)

Not according to Ogden at espn. Disappointing he said.
Mark Ogden is a testicle.

The dopey looking swine is a rag apologists who has resented City since we dispatched his beloved clowns into premier league obscurity.

Ogden is the text book example of transference: it's not City that he finds disappointing, he just can't bring himself to admit the rags are finished.

Fucking get in!!!

Ps - actually rate Enzo as a tidy footballer, any chance we could get him I’d take him
I doubt it.

He might be a decent player but he is definitely not the right profile for our club.

A player's temperament and demeanor is more important to our recruitment staff than their abilities.

You can coach improve a player's raw talent but you can't take the **** out of him.

What gets me with this fat bastard is why does he think he’s a native of Ordsal or Weaste, when the truth is he’s a Scouse bastard, not a salfordian, yes he played for them but don’t act all big and I’m a red and hate City, you are just a fat granny shagging Scouse **** so get fucked

You are an Evertonian and never forget it
If he's such a "top red", why did he raise his kids as Everton fans?
Typical Rag, full of shit with nothing to back up anything they say.

Poor performance overall but with the win only 3 days ago in shit weather was possibly expected but to win another trophy is ace! Also shows though there is much work to do with the squad this summer and that’s going to be tricky with the World Cup on unfortunately. I had expected the transfer window to maybe open earlier to allow for some quick transfers

Thought it was a tired performance from a team that’s played too many games this season, football schedule is ridiculous to expect elite athletes to play nearly 3 times a week through the season
Trust you to pick out the negatives. City didn't look tired when Cherki and Kova came on.

I thought we'd win at KO. Two strong starting XIs but City's bench had so much more quality.
