Another new rule for them. Handball leading to a goal is allowed if its accidental. Corruption beyond belief now.

– 55’ After VAR review, the referee stuck with the original decision to award a goal to Manchester United. Referee announcement: “After review, the decision of goal stands because the handball offence is accidental, therefore the final decision is goal.
This will be like the dipper 5cm rule: use once then discard.

They are, but I do wonder whether with it’s unique ko time, they get more dough for this?
It’s like on a regular weekend, I always thought the proper chosen matches for their slots (12.30, 5.30 Sat, 4.30 Sun, 8pm Mon etc) always gave clubs more revenue than if they were one of the many 2pm Sunday re-arranged slot games which also ended up being televised but with a lot less production around them, if you see what I mean. Could be mistaken mind.
I’ve no idea, but a quick Google has said that all televised matches are paid the same. Could be nonsense of course!

And if that nonsense decision helps in any small way Anderson joining us then all good (highly unlikely to be a factor admittedly )

They will make a point about it not being directly leading to the goal for the player, as that's the wording in the laws. It's bollocks, mind

Just like van Dijk's constant moans at other players when Liverpool concede, Fernandes is the same when someone other than him makes a poor attacking decision. He's just as bad though

You don't think VAR can't bridge the gap between 1st and 3rd?
After the 22/23 Manchester derby I have no idea how people don’t understand the level of bias towards United even if they’re half good. We didn’t get an apology and all Howard Webb had to say is “if that incident ever happened again the likelihood is, it wouldn’t get given” and it got brushed over
