Pep to leave at the end of the season

He has one more year on his contract but clearly has decided now that he will go. So the club will have only just found out in all likelihood. They'll have spoken about it through the season but based on the rumours there's now been a definitive decision.
But surely with the relationship he has with the owners he would’ve given them more time to find a replacement. Besides pep has given us a few hidden hints recently that he was staying. I guess I misread them.

So if he is leaving, where does he go from here? He’s only 55 so has got at least a decade left in him?

He won’t manage Spain, and I couldn’t bare all those cun7s who have slagged him off, cheering if he took over after Tuchel as England boss?
I'd imagine he will take some time off, see what happens with the international scene after the world cup perhaps

Are we preparing for life in the National League after the 115?

That's why we signed Semenyo, he came from non-league and Guehi was in a Palace side that got beat at Macc Town.

Quality planning again from Khaldoon and the team!

That’s what I’m thinking. If it wasn’t for the leak, it would be It like the David Silva situation where the fans couldn’t say goodbye. When was the Club going to tell everyone? After Villa? This is so strange.
But presumably the way Pep wanted it to be. They're not going to force him into a Klopp-like farewell tour if that's not what he wants.

I thought we might have got Iraola in to do similar as he's a decent manager, Spanish and has got Bournemouth punching above their weight.
I think Iraola probably thinks he's better than a stop gap, which is probably true tbf.
Maresca did well in the City system and he's done well at Leicester and Chelsea in spite of both those clubs being run like comedy clubs.

He probably knows Vinny is in the pipeline but if he does well then he can maybe nail it down for the longer term.

He's no fool, he knows its a great opprortunity.

Next year was an option and the club knew for sure 3 months ago. Why do you think they've been talking to Maresca?

Timing for Vinnie doesn’t seem right. Too much to lose for both sides. Did very well in Bundesliga but to take over after Pep is not exactly a dream scenario for neither club nor Kompany. Rather seeing Maresca without too much expectations surprise us. Also think Chelsea played well under him, which is a testament in that shitshow of a club recently. To win the Championship with Leicester (that are now in Division 1) is not to be sneered at either. Thanks for everything Pep, was always gonna go slightly downhill after this, but we’ll be back. Also, rather controversial, but the Pep of the last 1-2 years might not be impossible to replace. The highs I doubt we’ll ever see again, so am just grateful that I got to experience them.

Very disappointing that this has been leaked and not been handled better by the club.
How can the club stop leaks from commercial partners? Players dodging it all week. Pep running out of interviews with no answer. We knew it was coming. Why the need to constantly attack the club? Don’t get it

I believe he told the club in February - I've heard this from 3 sources now and there are rumours of other things in preparation at the club.
The press are reporting it as gospel now as well.
