Pep to leave at the end of the season

Holt is a Stockport fan. That’s very sycophantic to the Rags, which, as a resident of Stockport, I can tell you is very par for the course these days.
Might be a Stockport fan, but he fancies the bin dippers. Also, let's not forget this is the same Oliver Holt who wrote this back in march: Federico Valverde rips apart Pep Guardiola's team of impostors with magnificent hat-trick for Real Madrid in 3-0 win - Man City's task is now almost impossible, writes OLIVER HOLT

There is no way on earth he didn't think this through. As soon as he posted, all the red media picked it up. When? Arsenal was playing at home so the news was a small morale buzz and us playing the next day. Even if the players knew, today will be a buzz around this, a constant sound around the players. Questions, whattsap messages and so on.

You mean like the noise now? Surely with Pep being Pep it would have been done in the most respectful way....leaks into the press and the Mail of all things seems out of character - how many signings did we make and not a word was leaked - whys it different now with this info?
There are a lot more things to consider when a manager is leaving, it's not like one player coming in. Everybody who is anybody at the club would know about it, preparations would have to be made for the man coming in and all this will have been going on behind the scenes for some time.

Sorry, but I dont think the media would have gone all in on this if it wasn't true, and the key point to note here is that they're pretty much treating it as a given rather than just speculation.

Apart from that, if it wasn't true why would the club and/or Pep just not come out and state outright that he will still be here next season?

I'm also wondering if the club wanted a change. They want that CL trophy more than anything and we've only won it once. Magnificent achievement of course but even Liverpool and Chelsea have won it in recent times despite our domestic dominance.

Are people putting 2+2 and coming up with 5 ?

Naming the stand after Pep, people assume he is leaving, when in affect Pep is seeing our his contract.
The pressure is on to get the stand finished for next Sunday
I don’t think so mate. It seems pretty clear now he’s off. If it was bullshit now it has all come out there is no way he wouldn’t shut it down before such a big game tonight.

Yes but haven’t allowed to spend it how he wanted. He was told who to buy; what they should be paid & how they should be treated. Players ruled
Can’t believe some are comparing his time at Chelsea to him coming to us. It’s a completely different set up altogether.

For me the sole explanation is the imminent verdict. Pep is still literally saying he has one more year contract. Talks how much energy he has. Its clear hes rebuilding and we would be strong next season. Things do not add up at all.

Agree with pretty much all that apart from the club wanting the change. Yes we should have probably done better in Europe but still think the club would have wanted him here another 3 years had it been Pep’s wish to stay.

There's a part of me that would love Klopp to come in just to boil the piss of the dippers, but it aint going to happen. The squad isn't built for Klopp, its built for the system Maresca knows already.
Agreed, but we changed a little into a direct football team than previous years.

Can’t normally get a ticket for Bournemouth so was lucky enough to get one due to it being midweek. A long way to go in your own (my lads and mates didn’t qualify) but now feel honoured to be there for the last away appearance of Bernardo, John and probably Pep. Fucking love them all. It’s like losing 3 family members, 4 with Nathan presumably. Right setting off now. Up the fucking Blues.
