That cuts potentially two ways. The players must have had an idea — I simply do not believe they had no inkling.
Now that it's out, it wouldn't at all surprise me if they reasoned, “Let's give this great manager one final title”. Bernardo, and Johnny (if he plays, which is a bit doubtful) will certainly be thinking like that. So will Erling.
