EFL Playoffs time

But it's designed to ensure clubs abide to:

EFL Regulation 3.4, which requires clubs to act towards each other with the utmost good faith; and

EFL Regulation 127, which prohibits any club from observing, or attempting to observe, another club's training session within 72 hours of a scheduled match between the two clubs.

A slap on the wrist does nothing
A fine, Southampton would make more than enough to cover It if promoted.
Points deduction - PL aren't obliged to enforce it (farcical in it's own right)
So the only solution is what's transpired.

This is potentially a £200m fine, for a pretty insignificant offence.

And a side that wasnt good enough to make the finals gets a free ride.

The fine could be so significant it really hurts them, paid to ‘Boro.

The dislike of Southampton here is just weird. You all forget how they treated us after the centurion win? They were very accommodating, had a sped up lap of honour themselves then fucked off and allowed our players to come back out and celebrate with the away end who were allowed to stay. They had zero obligation to do any of that, but I'll always appreciate that.

They deserve it. If you have to spy on your opponents to win a game of football then something is seriously wrong. Right decision imo. Why should they have the chance to get promoted and make millions from spying

I’m actually staggered by this,I thought a fine would have been the decision,it’s also disgraceful that Hull have been focused on playing Southampton and now it’s Boro, what about the fans who have booked hotels tickets and transport, and short notice now for Middlesbrough fans to get sorted the whole thing is a shambles..
Hull and 'boro fans all travelling down that east corridor together to wembley will be fun.

Some of their fans were shouting some hurty words it seems at Wembley.

Incredibly excessive. No way is that proportionate to whatever minimal sporting advantage they would’ve gained from spying on Boro. Fine them or give them a points deduction for next season but to expel them from the play-offs and reinstate a losing team is ridiculous.

I will always remember them for our last game at Maine rd.
