We got away with it against Burnley; didn’t against Everton, who were much better. Bournemouth are on another level entirely to those two - this was always going to be a hard game.

If the race ends tonight, it’s not really this game that’s done it. It’s Spurs, Forest, Everton, games like that when we chucked it.

That said, this performance so far feels more befitting of a funeral than a celebratory send-off.
