I worry for next season. If they're not motivated with the league on the line after the Pep news, when will they be. Very soft team

Gave ourselves way too much to do before the run in, really, but it's not nice to have dragged ourselves back in and done the hard parts but fizzled out in a couple of tricky but winnable away games.
The results in January were ultimately our undoing. Everton and this game may have sealed it, but my expectations dropped in January.

Exactly this, we've done well to pull it back to the last few games of the season.

It shows what a piss poor league it's been this season, even the league leaders have been average and had very little competition, and they nearly blew it.

In truth our performances haven't merited us winning it. Arsenal haven't been great either but they've shown the grit and dogged determination to get it over the line. That's down to the hunger of not winning it for years. Sadly we've become what Pep called us a couple of years ago, a happy flowers team. Capable of turning it on in big games but not prepared to dig in and scrap in the more mainstream ones, hence the disappointing draws.
