I hope your correct. Fulor whats its worth i dont rate arsenals squad as better than ours. I think the quality at the top of the Premier league furv the most part is not as formidable as seasons past.

The squad is far from perfect. We have a few ageing players, players that are injury prone, etc. But we have the next generation of first team players playing on a weekly basis and coming through. A few more young and good signings, and I honestly believe we can continue winning titles and cups in the future. Obviously the new manager, who ever it is, will have a huge impact on the team and squad, one way or another. I’m feeling upbeat about City’s future.

To be honest I hope he now leaves. Anything else like one more year just leaves the club in a bit of a limbo. It's been an incredible 10 years and a decade we may never see the likes of again. However now I've got my head around it I'm actually looking forward to seeing what Maresca can do.

My heart would always take 1 more year of Pep at the helm, but my head agrees with you. This squad needs direction; if he's not willing to commit to a three-year cycle (and there appears to be zero chance of that), it's probably best for everyone in the long term that we move on and get the new era started ASAP.
