We used to look back at 1968-1976 as the golden era where the club peaked, we’ve eclipsed that so much in recent years it’s absolutely unbelievable, yet double trophing winning players this very season, some still around that won 4x leagues in a row and The Treble, are being criticised for “lack of quality”.
Has some of our fans lost the fucking plot?
He means it’s been decided but I can’t say ahead of the official announcement so I’m not going to answer your question properly. No, but you get the gist.
What's he hoping to hear from Khaldoon?
It would be equally easy to say Im leaving. He's clearly leaving. If he was staying, it would be very easy to just say that rather than hide behind contractual semantics. It was like listening to a politician's interview!
Not doing so may well have influenced his decision to leave , last 2 seasons bar this Jan transfer window he's had a right load of shit to try and be successful with.Khaldoon should be saying look pep if theres any chance of you staying were willing to back you properly in the transfer market
Take a bow.Apparently it’s just Pep Ljinders thats leaving. See you next season folks!
Jesus wept…No tin hat here
Manager yet again another brain fart!!!.
3 defensive midfield players in a game we needed to win!!!
Great record for trophies-shud been better!!
Shit cup final when players on the piss cos won 4 in a row!!!! Have a celebration-but for a week-thats down to manager letting then do it!!
Palace never turned up
I said after Champs league v Chelsea how I felt that day if he walked passed my house I would have shot him there and then!!
I feel exactly the same now
He goes Sunday or not so be it
Thank him for everything but cud AV been better!!
Why do we need a 3 year cycle? I want to win more trophies. My heart would always take 1 more year of Pep at the helm, but my head agrees with you. This squad needs direction; if he's not willing to commit to a three-year cycle (and there appears to be zero chance of that), it's probably best for everyone in the long term that we move on and get the new era started ASAP.
Nothing is clear, and it would be stupid to push Pep out. This threatens to become bad PR for serious club City tends to be. Understand Pep wanted to announce in his own terms, but this just looks sloppy and clearly affecting the whole squad.
Remove the bandage, announce Pep leaving, Enzo for next season, organize party next Monday or whenever, and end speculations.
In 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 years time, there will be blues that look back on this decade under Pep and will say “wow”.Blame pep ;) it happens to all supporters when you win so so much your standards are much higher! Look at the history of Liverpool the rags after winning for decades they wasn’t happy with his top four or a cup here or there and now after over a decade of failure finishing 3rd and having a player matching the assist record they are so so happy!
