Not doing so may well have influenced his decision to leave , last 2 seasons bar this Jan transfer window he's had a right load of shit to try and be successful with.

My heart would always take 1 more year of Pep at the helm, but my head agrees with you. This squad needs direction; if he's not willing to commit to a three-year cycle (and there appears to be zero chance of that), it's probably best for everyone in the long term that we move on and get the new era started ASAP.

In 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 years time, there will be blues that look back on this decade under Pep and will say “wow”.

It’s the greatest days in the club’s history. We achieved absolutely everything you could possibly want and then some.

There’s nothing left for me to witness as a blue now, nobody will get 100 points again, nobody will equal 4x leagues in a row, nobody will beat 32 wins in a season, 106 goals, the Domestic Treble, The Treble, 18 league wins in a row, 23 home wins in a row.

It’s all there for the record books under Manchester City because that man gave us a decade.

Sunday will be terribly sad but a privilege to watch him in our dugout one more time.
