The expectation was it would drop sometime early this year. If he had left last year and it did, the same accusations/narrative would have happenes. He and the club werent to know it would take 18 months.The 115 bit doesn't make any sense because if the verdict is announced this summer, as seems likely, and we're found guilty of ANYTHING, even the grass being the wrong shade of green or something, the entire world and his dog are going to claim Pep left a year early because of the 115 verdict. In that scenario he would have been better leaving last year.
Agree though, if there is anything, it will be construed that way. Hopefully they feel comfortable enough there isn’t.
Or they just give zero fucks about appearance and twists of facts.
