Pep to leave at the end of the season

Just noticed something. For the last decade whenever there’s been a city article online it’s always been accompanied by a picture of pep looking glum or with his head in his hands. Every one I’ve seen today has shown pep with a beaming smile on his face. Wonder what that’s all about?

Seems he won't be leaving the club after all. He's gonna be a Global Ambassador for the CFG.

So yeah, he's essentially retiring (or taking an extended break) from football management altogether.
This is the "I have a contract line"

Yep, he must have spoke with the chairman, and decided to leave ..... am gonna miss this guy so much ...... so that's that then, we go on without him.

LOOK AFTER YOURSELF BOSS, AND THANKS FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID FOR US.

Even though I always knew this day would come, I never wanted it to be true. But here we are.

How do you even begin to sum up Pep? You can’t really put into words what he’s meant to this club, the fans, the community, and the city of Manchester. From the incredible highs of the treble to the heartbreaks like Spurs in the Champions League, it’s been one unbelievable journey over these last 10 years.

People will say he was brought in to deliver the Champions League, and there will always be journalists ready to question whether one UCL was enough. But Pep’s impact goes far beyond trophies and records. He changed the club, united the fans, and gave us memories that will last forever.

What a man. What a manager.

Thank you for everything, Pep. Once a Blue, always a Blue.

It is a very sad day for all City supporters. We knew it was coming, doesn't make it easier. There's some quote or other about 'don't be sad it's over be glad it happened' . Nope, I am very sad it's over, we had the best manager in the world, half the teams we faced were beaten before they turned up, because we knew & they knew, we had the best football manager of all time. As for glad it happened? Fuck yea, it was a blast & I will take it with me for the rest of my life. Thank you Pep, I owe you.

My suggestions for the statue....

Thank you Pep for all that you have done for our club. You will never be forgotten not just as a manager and leader but as a decent and honorable man. Good luck in the future whatever you decide to do - you’ve earned it.

Feeling flat as a pancake. As somebody else said expecting this news but with the delay in them officially announcing it there was a little bit of optimistic hope there may be a change of mind which has probably made it worse.

Barely anybody left from 'that' team. It's getting me rather emotional. The churn in players is only natural, but the one constant was Pep. It's so so deflating and trying (very poorly) to hold it together.

Thanks for the memories Josep. x

That video was beautiful, thank you Pep for 10 years of football memories that will live with us all forever. Nobody will ever compare to Pep and I don't think we realize just how lucky we have been to have had the greatest manager of all time call our fabulous club his home for a decade.
Thank you Sir Josep Guardiola, Manchester loves you forever more xx
