Pep to leave at the end of the season

Didn’t realise he’s becoming a CFG Global Ambassador. Looks like he’s going white collar for a while and will be enjoying being in the game but not having to watch the corruption that was going on right in front of him.
That's how we're going to pay his real wages for the last 10 years. You know, the ones that don't go through the books paid directly by Etihad. 100 million a year.

It enforces the notion that he has not fallen out with the club, probably just sick of the way the game is played in this country. Seeing how Arsenal had basically been given the league when we were so close must have really hit home hard. Is it any wonder that he stepped down, nobody can keep on having to deal with that.
It also enforces, that all those 'Barcelona FC is his true love, City are the mistress, he'll go back there etc' morons were... well, morons..

Agree with every word, I was meaning in the tens of thousands, assuming it wasn't going to be in the final match day. The comment has been taken out of context, the guy was whinging about the club not telling anybody. I also said in another post that if people want to be there badly enough they will be. I'll be there too, 160 mile round trip for me.
I will be traveling 1.500 to be there but I don't give a shit about the money or the time.
I ain't missing this one

Im adamant we will continue to be successful, Mansour & Khaldoon will insist. The day those two aren’t involved is my worry

Looking forward to the imminent BBC documentary…oh hang on.
from Dan Roan in a 115 article today:

'In 2024, Jose Mourinho pointedly insisted he won his three Premier League titles with Chelsea "fairly and cleanly", after being asked about Guardiola making a six-finger gesture after a match, signifying the haul of titles he had won'.

He wrote that without qualification or irony.

Just wanted to add that whilst I guess being selfish I'm glad he's gone, I'm also grateful for what he's done for the league, the standards he has set and the legacy he will leave. Wish him all the best, seems like a great guy too.

Totally agree, as you won’t be doing two in a row, let alone four!!

Its ok when Real Madrid inevitably get drawn against us next season I look forward to Maresca absolutely destroying that piece of shit that now manages them.

Not wanting to pour cold water on this, but I am old enough to remember the Joe Mercer era we had a period of unprecedented success but when he eventually left his understudy took over! To say it was a unmitigated disaster and brought a long period in the football wilderness. I sincerely hope history doesn't doesn't repeat itself !!

Viana is not shy of firing a manager or two :)
