Not even doing 2 years, doing a max of 2 years. So is Maresca aware of this plan that he is signing on to do maybe a year or 2 at City before being kicked to the curb? And if he's signing a 3 year deal but theres no way he's seeing it out as agreed then has the club already confirmed and planned for him to be sacked or will they make him do a press conference saying he's stepping down?

Maresca is not exactly an outsider. Khaldoon and Viana are the key to on field success and continuity. Kolo also likely to remain.

Enough players remain imbued with Peps winning mentality, especially after a double cup winning season and a near treble. We have to trust in City and the process. So far they have delivered on all their promises and more.

Cucurella is one of my 3 least favourite players, along with Gabriel and Rudiger.

Paradixically though, I could imagine him becoming really popular if he was doing all his shithousery for us. NOR could concentrate on midfield then, as well.

Not so the other two. I couldn't watch a single match with either of those playing for City.

I'll await an official announcement of the appointment and support the new manager wholeheartedly. There will have been a thorough process to find the new manager and I suspect Pep will at least have been consulted. What I have learned over the last 17-18 years is that our owners and the people they appoint really do know what they're doing and so the views on our future put forward by rival supporters are nothing but their fantasies; it's unlikely to be 4 PL titles in a row or 4 league cups or 4 FA cup finals, but we'll be OK, we have a young squad and I'm sure we know who we want in the summer. Pep is a unique loss, but the club is still in a strong position.
