Booked a hotel near The Arndale (wife and little ones), ideally I'll be looking to see the bus and shoot off to the Co-operative.

Whether it's achievable, who knows........... :-)
 
Great atmosphere in Ancoats... Just announced team isn't getting here for 25 minutes, so we're going to have to give that all that a miss now.

City have had a nightmare here. Latest admission 6pm? Get to fuck.

Think Noel is doing a few songs. Heard that yesterday.

Random story time.

15 years ago before the first champions league game against Napoli I saw Noel getting out of a taxi and asked for a photo. Was just me no one else noticed him. He replied “no” and walked off.

Fast forward to yesterday. I once again saw Noel. This time I had my kids. I walked up to him after the game and I said “can the kids have a photo please?” He said “you what?!?” I asked again and he replied “okay/.. quickly… I’m not stopping” as he was trying to keep a low profile as people where waiting at Colin bell reception and he had sneaked out behind them.

As a huge oasis fan I was chuffed to finally get a photo with Noel even if he as a bit grumpy! but I did get a chuckle as Noel walked off, my 6 year old boy very loudly said “dad, who was that?”.

In Noel’s defence it must be incredibly annoying to get pestered everywhere he goes! But yeah made my bloody year that. Even if my youngest doesn’t know who he is!
