Pep to leave at the end of the season

I still can’t fathom why when Guardiola was questioned about leaving City, he said he’s going to “talk with the chairman”, indicating he may do another year. That’s what I was hoping when he said it any rate, I’m sure plenty of others were too.

He didn't want to give the game away, but it was clear he wasn't telling the truth from how he acted and pitch going up. He won't go into acting, unless it is King Lear at the Fairfield Halls in Croydon.

Thought this thread might have closed now. After all “Pep to leave” er no, “Pep has left”! He’s gone.

I just watched the video tributes from individual fans while Pep was watching and choking back the tears.

What beautiful, heartfelt words spoken by everyone of them.

Pep loved it so much. As he said at the end of the video he connected with the fans from the moment he arrived in the taxi with Chappie.

It just doesn't get any better than the last ten years.

Media cockroaches saying he fancies the England job now! They’re suddenly about to start licking his arse!
working with Pep almost every day and it still taking a talented player with a brain a year to understand what he wants, not a chance Guardiola could do it with an England squad

I used to work with a manager who was a red and I mean one of those reds. I remember his screen saver at work not being a trophy they won or the team but John Terry crying. We didn’t often talk about City, there was no point, he’d come back when you’ve won something attitude. I remember the day after the takeover, he came in the office with a sort of jokey attitude “so you’re going to win this, buy that and then when he’s sold the club hahaha”, I distinctly recall, replying “if we win the league once, I’d be more than happy”. Who would have guessed that a few years later Pep would have arrived and go on to win a plethora of Premier Leagues, Cup finals and CL, as well as others. What a privilege it has been the last 10 years. Thank you Pep.

Just thought that this could be worse - if Pep had gone to another team what would be the chances he would come back and take some of our players.......You could bet there would be one or two that would go work with him if he did go somewhere.
