I agree every descriptive word about Bellingham. He's an absolute horror, no place for him here, he's perfectly suited to Real Mardarses. We avoided well there.
 
I think these situations are a lot more fluid than fans believe. Deals get ripped up at the 11th hour all the time. It’s hard to discount someone after one bad post.

Romano is still a tap-in merchant imo. Rarely has new or exclusive info, always seems to be the last person to tweet about a transfer - has just branded himself very successfully.

I feel we should get organised and get ourselves as clued up as possible with a spreadsheet of all the people who say stuff, was it true, was it close etc.

Unfortunately I can’t but someone with basic excel skills could log all the rumours each day and we could end up with quite a reliable database in a few seasons.

Over time we can then get to know who we can trust, who tends to spout shit and we can then make up our own minds if the source is reliable.

This isn’t to create a backlash against individuals or say people lie, it would just be good to keep records.


Example:

Ollie Holt - DAILY MAIL - Broke Pep leaving news - TRUE
Now he might not always get City info first etc but least over time we’ll know the more Ollie Holt tweets about us.


Or even do it like this


NAME - SOURCE - PLAYER CONCERNED - HEADLINE - INFO DATE - TRUE/FALSE/OPEN

@JoeBoggs1 - Twitter - Anderson - City bid 50M - 27/5/26 - OPEN (W’ed only know if fee was bullshit once he signs)

Not sticking my hand up but I would suggest AI could be used in the compilation of this spreadsheet.
