Same over here. A lot of people behind the wheel couldn't drive a nail into a bar of soap.Driving standards in the UK have plummeted.
I've had four close calls this past month due to others disregard for the rules.

They have a son so they have diverted their attention to him. But you never really get over something like that. That's absolutely tragic, my heart goes out to that poor woman and her family! Awful that's viewed as fair sentences #RIP
Truly heartbreaking and massive credit to her for getting through that filming- hopefully its impact will stop some idiot from doing the sameThey have a son so they have diverted their attention to him. But you never really get over something like that.
Really sad seeing such a wonderful human being going through so much pain.
Never seen this before, but did a quick search and found this about the above.Had a woman come do my blinds when I moved in to where I live. Found her online. Terribly posh, but a lovely human being.
And then about a year later I had cause to ask her to do more work on my house and she was quite hard to contact, and then I managed to catch her and she told me her 16 year old daughter had died in a car crash about three months before.
All Schoolmates in the car. On their way from school on a country lane. All three passengers died and the driver (17) didn’t have a scratch on him (although claimed memory loss).
Eventually (and it was about two years later) he pleaded guilty to death by careless driving. There wasn’t enough forensic evidence to support death by dangerous driving. He got the statutory maximum less a tiny bit of credit for a (very) late guilty plea. Went to a Young Offenders Institute for over a year.
This lady derived very little satisfaction from the verdict, of course. It’s not going to bring her daughter back. What a thing to endure.
Do you think he'd give a flying fuck about being banned he wasn't arsed about having insurance on the car, the law means fuck all to him. This is such an extreme case that the sentence, though heavy, is inadequate.
They ought also to be banned from driving for life, but I guess they haven't been.
Maybe they weren’t insured? How the hell do a couple of scrotes like that end up in an RS3? Insurance would have been horrific.
thats a good sentence. The semtencing rules around harm caused by bad driving standards are incredibly poor and disproptionate to harm caused and culpability, but the law dictates them. That for once is a more appropriate sentence11 years? Should be 10 times that
No maybe about it, cheap motoring when you don't give a fuck.Maybe they weren’t insured?
Yet again successive Govts have promised to bring sentencing into line with public opinion but do sweet FA about it. As for driving standards we all know that there are increasing numbers on the road without a licence or with a fake one.thats a good sentence. The semtencing rules around harm caused by bad driving standards are incredibly poor and disproptionate to harm caused and culpability, but the law dictates them. That for once is a more appropriate sentence
Probably selling smack. How the hell do a couple of scrotes like that end up in an RS3? Insurance would have been horrific.
Another Joke sentence
Kills two gets six years eight months
Point us in the direction of good news.......;)Oh goody, another thread about shit news..
