What are the most cringe moments you've seen in football?

Gerrard’s weird crying and now infamous ‘this doesn’t slip’ rousing of the troops after they beat City at Anfield in 2014. Shows their mentality that they thought they had it done with still a lot of football to play, we all know how that ended.
Hate Gerrard. Terrible manager and seems to think he's amazing.

Probably a very controversial opinion but think he was overrated too. Played at 100mph, tried Hollywood balls, thrived in chaos, the anti David Silva. He got played off the park in international tournaments.

Good player of course but it's just weird how the English media gets angry at any criticism of him and the media and fans down there have this 'Gerrard is God' type mentality. Even acting like guys like Scholes and Lampard can't lace his boots, which is clearly not true.

That embarrassing clown Creepnaldo acting like he won the game himself after scoring a meaningless penalty in the 120th minute, after being the worst player on the pitch, in the 2014 CL Final. Coward.

In fact, most things that **** does or says are cringe.
Crying as he went off in the Euros final, then dancing around on the touchline like he was the manager because he couldn't stand to not be the centre of attention after going off.

He only came out in extra time too when it looked like they might win - and far from encouraging his team-mates, he seemed to be pressurising them in a 'you cunts better not fuck this up for me' type way, just really aggressive at times.

He is a true **** and a coward and I still maintain they'd have lost that final had he not got injured. Without him there they played more as a team.

And anything Brendan Rodgers did.

100% agree with this.

I'm amazed nonbody has summpned the ghost of Brendan Rodgers to this thread. Also...

Nothing but nothing in the entire history of European Football will ever be as cringeworthy as that red-nosed twat parading his drink-soaked self in front of the papparazi outside the Lowry before he went inside, to give PSG a pep-talk... right befire we stuffed them.
