I went off on a tangent and found a site about drum intros and one song mentioned was Don’t Bring Me Down by ELO.



Except it isn’t technically a drum intro, the song on the album was taken from the prior album track as a tape loop, slowed down, had the pitch adjusted slightly, and then sped up again. So I guess drum machines count then!
