Unfortunately you don’t pay big money for finished products anymore, you pay either pay astronomical money or have them run their contracts down. Or a release clause. Haaland (RC) and Mbappe (ran contract down) being prime examples.

Big money now is for potential. (Rightly or wrongly)

I’d argue that Anderson has potential (only 23) but also genuine quality right now (tops all midfield stats in the league) and English which comes at a premium too.

Plus he’s extremely important to Forest and they’re rightly asking for a mega price that reflects it.

I thought the introduction of Kova in the FA Cup final made the difference, I’d keep him for another season.

He was excellent in the first half vs Bournemouth as well. Fitness is an issue but he’s a world-class CM.

We should keep all of the top talent veterans around imo.

I don't think the midfield is a position we can afford to mess about with mate - we have learnt the hard way when we have.
