Is this Coalition Goverment Doomed

Cameron, Osborne and Clegg are nothing more than little spoilt brats who have had a life of luxury, never really had to feel the pain of being unemployed or living on the breadline... never!!

This country should put legislation in place that forbids you from being a politician until you are at least 30, and Prime Minister until you are 50.

These kids when they fuck up will shrug their shoulders and walk away totally oblivious to the harm and damagd they will have inflicted on many good honest people.... what do they care ?? They're rich, they will never be hungry or homeless or destitute - they really are not qualified to do the job.

I'd go for that they should be made to get a job in the real world first before they become a politician and live in lala land.

It's about wealth and privilege not age though, Cameron can't be 'that' far off 50 anyway in the grans scheme of things and he could live to be 110 and still be no more in touch with people on low incomes. I know some will attack this as inverse snobbery but I think there's a practical argument to be made that his life experiences are the total opposite of what qualifies him to represent the average British person's interest.

Funny you should mention age Joe .....

didn't a 43 year old deceitful clown named Blair start the rot off fifteen years ago???

I'm sure he came from a place called la la land , or was it lie lie land???

Big breaking news is that Tony Blair is to have a formal role in the Labour Party again, Guardian are putting up a story soon. As a party member I am very, very uncomfortable about this. I joined after New Labour, and if he got too close to the leadership/resumed the leadership totally I'd have to have a rethink about my membership.

Edit: Story is up http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2012 ... um=twitter

It was doomed from the beginning.

Lib Dems sold their souls and are now paying the price.

Tories are just anti working class posh cunts who love to steal from the poor and give to the rich. The only people they fool are cunts who think the width of their TV screen dictates their class. Cunts. Tory cunts.
Steal from the poor?

I'm not biting.

That Robin Hood tended to do it the other way round, as the poor had no fucking money.

I wouldn't worry about it mate. Once the coalition falls apart we are in for a good 10-15 stretch with the tory cunts arse-fucking us and blaming labour for all the evil in the world just like the 80's & 90's. Labour will then get back in and fuck the economy up again. We are probably doomed to repeat this cycle forever. Real shame the Libs missed their opportunity to throw a spanner in the works, for a fleeting moment after the last election they held all the cards but fucked it all up. The spineless way they continue to roll over and take it shows they are probably not fit to lead the country anyway.

Be careful what you wish for.

Without the calming hand of the Lib Dems the Tories would run amok. If the Conservatives had won in 2010 things would be far, far worse in terms of social policy etc..
This. I think Labour are the best of the top 3 parties, although Ed Milliband shouldn't be in charge. Also I think Labour would be better if the Unions didn't hold sway over them.
In answer to the question of the OP, the coalition will last until the next election and then Labour will win. People are sick of the cuts and will look to labour.

And Labour will spend like a drunken sailor and we will end up bankrupt like Greece .Ireland , Portugal and Spain.

Stop believing what the Tories are telling you and look at facts. Labour didn't get the country into this mess, the collapse of the global economy did. It was Labour's spending that made matters worse but without the collapse of the Lehman brothers there would be no recession. If you look at what's happening in Europe the cuts aren't working and people are realising this. The economy in America has picked up due to spending. The only reason Labour failed is because they spent big at the wrong time.

I have come to the conclusion lately that it doesn't really matter who is in power. We cant spend our way out of this shit because we have fuck all industry to drive us forward. The alternative is cuts which everyone hates and everyone in government is the same sort of **** with a different face.

The USA economy is propped up by the petro dollar that's why they can spend like there's no tomorrow. Unfortunately for us that isn't an option as the pound is no longer the worlds reserve currency. Only way we can get out of this shit IMO is bigger cuts and lower taxes. Not what the coalition is doing which is making big cuts and putting up taxes which is a double kick in the balls for the economy and is killing growth.

-- Thu Jul 12, 2012 9:38 am --
