Last Thurs/ Fri he was "clean" and it was all terrible he agreed and not his fault coz he can't be watching everybody all the time etc etc
Meanwhile more investigations go on and his number 2 is suspected to be the senior FIFA official being named and investigated over alleged bribes.
Suddenly today Blatter thinks its better if he stands aside to allow reform ( which he was promising ) to take place
If you consider lines 1 and 3 above that surely means something relating to line 2 has made him think now is the time to make and "honourable" exit. Don't suppose he will turn up at the Womens World Cup as a guest ?? Willie Fuck is the guy who he will be with ha ha ha

Would anyone outside of UEFA vote for Platini though?
CONMEBOL, CAF, AFC AND OFC all vote Blatter because they are worried if anyone associated with UEFA gets in a lot of the power will become UEFA centralised and therefore diminishing the game in those other regions.
To be fair to Blatter he has done quite a lot for African and Asian football and got them both a World Cup.
