If Liverpool force us to pay £50m they will have achieved their aims. Absolutely
Vilified sterling, made themselves look like the innocents in all of this, and got the fee they wanted having made us up our fee 3 times.

Their means of doing so have been abhorrent. To vilify a young talent as much as they have is shocking- and even worse by the media. They wonder why our best players often crumble or end up like gasgcoine or
Someone like that.

Anyway - if Liverpool achieve that, you have to take your hats off to their owners in ensuring they got what they wanted.
 
Expect movement over the weekend, we're in the final furlong. Sterling not joining up with their pre season tour, which has been given the green light by the powers that be at Anfield, is normal procedure in the process of transferring clubs.
 
I see Glen Johnson has managed to escape the dippers without all the high profile crap that has surrounded Stirling, Then again I suppose it gives the little darlings some respite for the next round of media garbage.

They've already spent the money on crap. I can never work out why the media are so far up their asses. Bar the pundit's I don't know of many scousers in the media. Or are they all middle aged glory hunters you find in offices up and down the country(like the scum)?

Probably mate. When a lot of them were growing up Liverpool were successful and a lot will be Liverpool fans....potentially? Other than that, I don't know!?
 
Would be great if we could have an agreement with him to join us next summer and not another club. Then he could buy his contract out, that would be so amazing. In the mean time we could bid for the ageing Robben with half the money.
 
I don't remember Real Madrid being bothered about paying slightly over the odds for Rodriguez or Bale. Or Barca with Neymar. Or Utd with Di Maria. If we want to move forward and compete with the top clubs we have to spend a lot of cash. That's the long and short of it.
