Agreed 100%. There's not actually many players who can just beat a man with a turn of pace anymore. When I watched him for england the other week I watched him closely. He did it repeatedly and it rarely got noticed.

Liverpool removed him off of the travelling list. Medical this week. Scousers laughing at the fee (45M + 5M). Scousers don't understand 9M goes to QPR and they spunk the rest on Benteke. Some idiots don't understand how Sterling will benefit us.

World class player.

Sterling didn't go with Liverpool on tour. City and Liverpool close to agreeing a fee around £45m

Day one, he wasn't for sale. If we wrap it up, then well done Txiki, but even bigger thanks to LFC for enabling us to buy a player who should have been untouchable.

I can't wait for the opening game, and he's there running out into a sea of 55,000 City fans.

We need this lad. What he brings to the table are parts of our game that were so obviously missing last season. He needs to work on his finishing, but this is the only fault I can find.

Talkshite were giving him a good press earlier (listening in the car) - both presenters saying there's no loyalty in football any more, and that Sterling is just looking after himself. They'll probably get a verbal warning for it.
 
Love it on RAWK, they are comparing it Torres moving to Chelsea and how he achieved nothing, lol, ye he won the champions league and that was it, the fact Torres was a crock through injury had a lot to do with it, have we paid over the odds, sure, but that's the market these days, if he stays for 5 years and gets us trophies it's money well spent.

And that's the top and bottom of it. Nothing wrong with discussing the fee, etc, but players are worth what clubs are prepared to pay. Just get the lad in a City shirt now and see what he can do.

This is like signing Owen or Fowler at 20 years old, Sterling's best years will be with us.

The Sterling thread on RAWK is absolutely priceless.

One guy claimed they'll sign Benteke plus another £30 million player with the Sterling money. They're getting £36 million for him. Priceless.
