Delph

He said delph is a disgrace. I'm sure punching a woman is more disgraceful than moving jobs lol

Is there any chance this is all a load of bollocks by the same set of 'journalists' that guessed wrong last week? It just seems that everytime Juve put out a story about Pogba going nowhere the Delph to City story rears its head.Possibly coincidence, but perhaps just media fishing /guessing because the club are not throwing them any crumbs.

My guess would be that he wanted to stay at Villa but the Villa ownership told him he had to go because the deal to sell the club had fallen through.

But whatever, I am fucking happy he is a city.

I doubt it's to do with the take over since they're getting so little money for him. My only guess is that Benteke is being sold but the whole world knew he was off so I don't get why he pissed both us and Villa around last week. He doesn't seem to have two brain cells to rub together.

Talksh*te are something else. To remain on the fence and have an equal sided argument, they decided to get a Villa fan and a Liverpool fan on air to discuss this Delph situation.

Wow.

I'd love to know the reasons for his latest u-turn. It can't be because Benteke is leaving, he knew about the release clause. After making that statement on the Villa OS about loyalty and loving the club he must know that coming here after all that will make him look like the biggest **** in the world.
So something else has happened to change his mind or he's being pushed because Villa or Lerner are desperate for the cash. It's certainly a strange one.

I don't get it. Really blindsided me this one.

The notion that he's leaving due to Benteke abandoning ship doesn't really make sense to me given that the reason he apparently bottled it last week was due to concerns over playing time - and stick online from Villa fans by all accounts.

He'd still be guaranteed that playing time at Villa park, which was seemingly a reason he had concerns over a move here before Euro 2016.

If he was keen to keen to 'kick on' and being in a competitive side was a big draw, then he would've just joined us the first time - surely?

Then again, maybe the stick for his 'loyalty' comments was a big deal to him, and now he's got a valid excuse that he can point to with Villa selling Benteke? "The club made promises they didn't keep, I wanted to stay but I'm an ambitious player" etc etc.

Doesn't reflect well on him from a mentality perspective IMO, comes across as bit weak willed, the players that make it at our present level are very single minded and determined.

All Blues get on talkshite NOW, it's funny as fuck, Collymore, City wish they had Villas history or some shite like that, fuckin comedy gold ain't in it

I think if anything all this proves the press know fuck all.

If true I f***'in love it!

After his first U-turn, the Rags and most other football fans, and most all the media outlets loved it, and were taking the piss out of City.

And now, the bitching has already started.

I've loving the agenda more and more. They really are hurting. I can feel their pain from here. Can you feel it too? :-)

Little city ain't so little anymore

I really, really hope not. Replace Fernando with Pogba and we're finally getting someone with a neglected area of our team.

As it stands we have Yaya a year older but still the best of the four (if motivated), Fernandinho, Fernando and Delph. I don't think anyone could argue that is a top class midfield. Vidal/Alonso/Martinez (or Lahm), Kroos/Modric, Busquets/Rakitic/Iniesta, Matic/Fabregas/Oscar and dare I say Schweinsteiger/Schneiderlin/Herrera look much stronger on paper than our combinations. But Yaya/Pogba/Fernandinho looks competitive.

Completely agree.

Pogba is vital, for me. Hope Delph is a Fernando replacement.

There's video footage of him leaving the hospital today after his medical...

Bloody hell heard it all. As if Villa are not in enough of a crisis Collymore just stated he has offered to give advice to the board as to hot to run the club. What a deluded prick.
